5/4/06: Flower Mart, Chipotle's Free Burritos

1. 2006 Flower Mart

This Friday and Saturday is the annual Flower Mart held in Mt. Vernon
at Peabody.

This year's theme is "Baltimore's Bee...utiful Bouquet." It's an outdoor festival with lots of exotic flowers, assorted flora, and other plants galore. On top of that there are lots of food stands (think Pit Beef!), crafts, contests, and performances. This year's entertainment includes outdoor movies, a themed costume pet parade and
contest, and lots of jazz bands and dancing. Enjoy lunch in Mt Vernon, watch a movie in the park, and maybe bring home a nice plant or two to keep you company while you study in your cave. Enjoy!
